Chips & Salsa Anyone?!
Friends! Thanks for joining us at our Chips & Salsa get-togethers! This week shared Young Life with friends from Lighthouse Presbyterian, Lutheran & First Baptist Churches. Our last scheduled chips & salsa is tonight, but I just want to say thanks for you prayers & encouragement. This has been an exciting week of sharing this new ministry with people in our community. Thanks friend (you know who you are) for watching kids while we gathered.

At these get togethers we have been planting Young Life seeds in our area. We have yet to see how they will grow, but we just want to talk about this good ministry and then let others talk about it with their friends and family. And talk we did, it was a lot of fun -- and really great to see so many people excited about bringing this ministry into our community.

If you didn't make it to a Chips & Salsa I would be my privilidge to share with you and give you a lil' taste of Young Life. OR Maybe you're just curious from the outside. Understood. Here's a little glimpse of what Young Life is all about.

Party.
April 5th, the Evergreen Events & the Lighthouse Presbyterian Church has offered to let us use their amazing hall - free of charge - for our Young Life Desert & Fundraiser. It's going to be a party, and you are so invited.

Yay God.
I have to share with you a neat door that God has opened. Some friends of ours recently had a party at their house. I've talked with them about hosting a Chips & Salsa and inviting some of their friends to hear about Young Life. They sounded excited about it. BUT, at the party I ended up winning a door prize -- and this friend invited me up, and talked about our friendship and his heart for the Paola community. AND on the spot I shared the Young Life ministry with over a hundred people! It sounds like we'll still do a Chips & Salsa sometime soon as well... but see what I'm saying. Yay God!

Um... house!
Courtney and I have moved north (a few blocks that is). We've spent a couple months praying, a month packing, and a week moving from 501 E. Wea to 805 Redbud here in town. It's been our goal to simplify our life -- and God has provided us with the opportunity to move into to a newer, smaller, and more economical (nice way of saying cheaper) house. And by the way, thanks friends for helping us move and watching our kids... you know who you are ;) .

Take care friends and thanks for sharing in our lives,
Ryan

Great peace have they that love your law, and nothing can make them stumble. PS 119:65
